If you want even more Magnolia-inspired magic, do not miss tonight's light-and-shadow spectacular at 8:00 p.m. Fireworks and drones will lift the festive atmosphere from the ground into the sky. Here is a preview: the fireworks will use the same palette as this year's Shanghai TV Festival key visual. When those signature artistic colors meet the shimmering surface of Dishui Lake, the cinematic effect will rival an international blockbuster. Every photo will be ready for center stage on your social feed.
Tonight, 1,900 drones will begin an extraordinary aerial choreography, shifting with precision through formation after formation. With points of technological light, they will trace the path of dreams that belongs to this young city.

The playful mascot alpha-LIN arrives cloaked in starlight, surrounded by luminous symbols filled with screen memories: an old television set, a broadcast signal, a play button, and more. From cathode-ray screens to online streaming, generations of television technology become a radiant constellation that links the industry's evolution across the decades. A corridor of light unfolds, and the drones tell the story of television through the passing years.
Act III: Together at Home - A Reunion in Light
Warm orange points of light outline a broad sofa, where a family of four nestles together to watch the screen. Strings of stars, colorful lights, and festive decorations surround their silhouette. Television programs have always been part of family life, and the screen has long served as a warm connection across shared time, preserving countless small pleasures in everyday moments.
Act IV: The Eye of Lingang - Creativity in Bloom

Layers of light gather around a gradient heart, and beneath it the names Haimu Pictures, Guanshi Qianyao, and Cloud Surfing shine together. A scroll of blue and violet light outlines Lingang landmarks. A long luminous ribbon connects the Oriental Pearl Tower to a slowly turning globe. Colorful points extend along the Silk Road, linking Shanghai and Lingang with the wider world. The radiant tree represents a screen culture flourishing in Lingang's fertile soil, with blossoms that endure.
Act IX: Transformation - Meeting the Future
The Tree of Tomorrow transforms into a magnolia phoenix and spreads its wings across the night. Long feathers extend in flowing layers, surrounded by tiny drifting stars of pink and violet. The phoenix's form echoes the graceful lines of magnolia petals and radiates life. The transformation from a magnolia tree rooted in Lingang to a phoenix soaring through the sky symbolizes the ascent and breakthrough of Lingang's screen industries as they carry unlimited creativity toward a brilliant new future.
Act X: Our Shared Stage
The sky of moving light resolves into two pixel-like emblems: the logo of the 31st Shanghai TV Festival's Magnolia Awards on the left and the Hi Lingang logo on the right. Below them, the words A YOUNG CITY, A CITY FOR YOUNG PEOPLE unfold amid ordered points of color and vibrant energy. The drone show reaches its finale as the Shanghai TV Festival and the vitality of Lingang converge, creating a broad stage for screen professionals and young creators.
